SMM Silicon-Based PV Morning Meeting Summary: Module Prices Continue to Decline, Glass Companies Plan to Raise New Order Quotes. In the current module market, the mainstream transaction prices for centralized projects are 0.713-0.724 yuan/W for N-type 182mm, with an average decrease of 0.011 yuan/W, and 0.728-0.739 yuan/W for N-type 210mm, with an average decrease of 0.012 yuan/W. The price for TOPCon distributed 182mm modules is 0.72-0.727 yuan/W.

Solar Cell

Prices

The price of high-efficiency PERC182 solar cells (23.2% and above efficiency) was 0.3-0.3 yuan/W, with prices declining and fewer orders; the PERC210 cell market had no trading volume.

The price of Topcon183 solar cells (25% and above efficiency) was around 0.28-0.29 yuan/W; Topcon210RN solar cells were 0.275-0.29 yuan/W; Topcon210 solar cells were around 0.29-0.3 yuan/W, with cell prices continuing to decline.

HJT direct sales were limited, with integrated manufacturers self-sufficient.

Production

The planned production of PV cells in April reached 63-64GW, up more than 13% MoM. The production of Topcon210R and 210N cells increased by more than 36% MoM, with sufficient cell supply, and inventory buildup began in mid-to-late April, with a tendency for production cuts in May.

Inventory

Cell inventory rose, and orders for the next month declined.

Module

Prices

In the current module market, the mainstream transaction price for N-type 182mm centralized projects was 0.713-0.724 yuan/W, with the average price down by 0.011 yuan/W, and the mainstream transaction price for N-type 210mm was 0.728-0.739 yuan/W, with the average price down by 0.012 yuan/W. The price of TOPCon distributed 182mm modules was 0.72-0.727 yuan/W.

Production

Module production in April remained at a relatively high level, with sufficient distributed orders, and production cuts began in May.

Inventory

The number of module orders for spot delivery in April increased significantly, and domestic finished product inventories declined rapidly.

PV Film

Prices:

PV-grade EVA/POE:

The current price of PV-grade EVA was 11,550-11,950 yuan/mt. PV-grade POE transactions were at 12,000-14,000 yuan/mt.

PV Film:

The current mainstream price of 420g transparent EVA film was 5.46-5.67 yuan/m², 420g white EVA film was 5.96-6.17 yuan/m², 380g EPE film was 5.79-5.89 yuan/m², and 380g POE film was 6.84-7.22 yuan/m².

Production

The planned production of PV-grade EVA in April increased by 8.22% MoM, and PV film production increased by 9.07% MoM.

Inventory

Current petrochemical plant inventories were low, with fewer transactions, and the market showed a wait-and-see sentiment.

Prices

3.2mm Single-layer Coating: The price of 3.2mm single-layer coated PV glass was 22-23.5 yuan/m², and glass companies planned to raise new order prices.

3.2mm Double-layer Coating: The price of 3.2mm double-layer coated PV glass was 23-24.5 yuan/m², and glass companies planned to raise new order prices.

2.0mm Single-layer Coating: The price of 2.0mm single-layer coated PV glass was 13.5-14.5 yuan/m², and glass companies planned to raise new order prices.

2.0mm Double-layer Coating: The price of 2.0mm double-layer coated PV glass was 14.5-15.5 yuan/m², and glass companies planned to raise new order prices.

Production

No new or cold-repair kiln capacity was added domestically this week, but previously ignited capacity began to slightly increase recently, with production continuing to rise.

Inventory

Glass inventory levels remained temporarily stable, and some module companies entered the market for procurement this week.
